Tina Ma

SiTT Group for Chinese Teachers - Coordinator

Tina Ma graduated from Nankai University, China, and completed executive education at INSEAD Business School in Singapore. She is a certified MBCT teacher (Oxford Mindfulness Foundation), registered mindfulness supervisor (UK Mindfulness Network), and currently serves as a trainer in the Teacher Training Pathway (TTP) for Bangor University.

She is the Chinese translator of the upcoming book Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology, to be published in mainland China by the end of 2025.

Tina trained with Bob Stahl, Florence Meleo-Meyer (UMass Center for Mindfulness), and Mark Williams, Willem Kuyken, Ruth Baer (Oxford Mindfulness Centre), as well as Alison Evans and Pamela (UK Mindfulness Network),and Sophie Samsom (Bangor University).

With a background in psychology, psychoanalysis, and dance movement therapy since 2009, she has been teaching MBSR, MBCT, MBCT-L, and mindfulness-based corporate programs since 2016. In recent years, she has integrated mindfulness with embodied movement and cultural elements from both East and West, offering programs on trauma healing, embodied awareness, and mindful leadership. She also supervises and supports the training and development of new mindfulness teachers.
